bejar beibi!!!!!!!!!

i heart bejar!

if any of you know me you know that i don't use the phrase....nor do i love it when other people use it, but if they want to they can i would never dream of stopping them.

the truth is, i heart bejar. i would even wear a shirt that said that if they existed!!!!

a few weekends ago i had the absolute pleasure of experiencing another beautiful place in spain!

at 11:00 a.m. Elaine, Dan, Angel and i took the bus to visit Antonio in his enchanting hometown of Bejar!

upon arriving we went dropped our stuff off at the ever so inviting and homey home of Antonio and his fantastic momma


and had coffee/beer/other drinks and pinchos with Luis, Antonio, and Victor....natives of bejar!

we ate quite possibly some of the best food i had my entire time in spain at his house, compliments of momma!! afterwards we rested and then took a walking tour of the beauty in the creation of bejar. we even got to look out over the city. luis, victor and pablo were sure to treat us as though they had known us always what hospitality! this is beautiful, no?

if we were not walking around seeing the beauty.....angel was driving around allowing us to see the streets and other sights in town.

sunday we went to church and were eagerly welcomed into that family as well. after the service and before family lunch we took an adventure up to the top of the mountains to see............SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! elaine and i mentioned that we had only seen the snow from the bottom of the mountain and within 20 minutes two carloads of us young people from the church were on our way up the mountain to see and touch the snow.

i just couldn't get enough of this town!!!! i couldn't get enough of these huge leaves the trees produced either. i love the friends and family of antonio that i had the pleasure of meeting. i loved walking around and hearing of another area of spain........the snow, the colors of leaves, the food, the rest.....pure enjoyment!
