those things which i miss.....those things which i love

here in espana i have been missing:
-hugs
-returned smiles
-corporate worship
-fluid communication
-being known by someone for more than 4 weeks
-personal space when walking down the street and or other things that we would consider common courtesy in the states
-mexican food
-riding or driving in a car with the windows down, music blarring, wind in my hair enjoying the moments with a friend or a carful of friends
-my family and friends [meaning you if you are reading this]



here in espana i have been enjoying:
-walking everywhere
-slower pace of life
-siestas
-fresh baked bread
-the scenery surrounding me
-everyone i meet or come into contact with here
-learning songs i already know, in a new language
-rain storms...they blow through so quickly so i get to enjoy the rain...but the sun still shines upon us on the 'rainy days'.
-all the old people here: they are TINY and precious and abundant
-learning....about everything, myself included
